My husband John and I have a small show kennel
called CornerStone Saint Bernards, on 6 acres in the Town of Darien Center located just east of Buffalo, New York...brrrrrr....
John owns a Crown and Bridge Dental Laboratory, where I work part
time.
We have two adult children. Our oldest Jacqueline, is a Private Investigator.
Our son John III also works in the dental lab.
Lindsay, a high school English teacher who recently married our son John is the
newest member to our Family
Our story begins a little more than 24 years ago when we brought home our
first Saint Bernard,
Brandy. Immediately we fell in love with this breed. Brandy, a pet quality Saint was devoted and loyal living up to the Saint Bernard reputation.
After living with Brandy's love and learning more about the breed, we decided to
expand our little family and included more Saints to our growing clan. From this
moment on, fate continued to point us in the direction of our
passion for the wonderful breed. As a child I had shown dogs at 4-H and AKC Shows in Jr. Handling, Confirmation and Obedience. The childhood
experiences of showing dogs led me to chose 'show quality' Saints. I continue to
show successfully at many local and national AKC
dog shows. Over the years our Saints have won numerous awards and honors
that showcase this fine breed. Presently we
have eight Saints. Three of which are Champions and 2 are major pointed.
I am currently a member of St Bernard Club of America and The Saint Bernard Club of the Finger Lakes.
Additionally I show our Saints in AKC sanctioned events such as Confirmation, Obedience and Weight Pulling.
I also attend weekly dog training classes in obedience and
confirmation. John and I have attended
numerous lectures and training seminars on the breed history,
reproduction, canine health and nutrition, behavioral and breed confirmation.
Our other passion is
riding our motorcycles.
